Z = Zombies

After a long time out in the jungle for the hunt, Nalee was exhausted from all the trouble, but managed to successfully catch a huddle-hawk and began bringing it back to the tribe.

Seeing beyond the horizon, Nalee used the remaining strength she had to place the hawk carcass behind her and began running as fast as she could to the huts.

Seeing no one, even as she entered.

The homes were still intact just fine, it was unlikely that anyone or anything had made a mess here. Even if the hunters were on the hunt for Rileskin, they would explain the absence of the adult males. No woman or young around.
She dropped the Huddle-hawk in the centre where the campfire would be set and shouted "Hello!"

After a few seconds of silence, the chieftains cloth doorway was pushed by an arm.
It was the Chieftain, looking deathly sick. Skin was going from a brown to a more pale grey.
A few patches of his skin were even darker.
"Well, well" The chieftain said, giving a rather evil smile and spoke in a croaked tone.
"Looks like the food has arrived for us!"

Nalee was confused, Huddle-hawks were used for concoctions and trinkets, as far as she was aware, they've never eaten the monstrous birds before.

Her attention was drawn to the movement around her, all the other residents had been silent in their huts, only now out as soon as Nalee had arrived back.
Noticing they were walking towards her, all of them looking more ill as the Chief.

This time, as they got closer, they all stared at her and began breathing loudly.

Nalee tried getting out of there, but was grabbed by two other residents who gently threw her back in the centre.
Soon she had several hands placed on her and keeping her still.
"Let the feast, begin!"
All of the residents opened there mouths wide and the ones closest began biting at Nalee, forcing her to the ground and continuing the hungry bites.

Screaming, no one was nearby that would help.
Nalees Alphabet - Z
The shortness of this story is rather evident I had planned drawing a picture before this series started.

Since it's currently over, Its time I get back into doing the comics.
And hopefully I'll have all drawings done for these short stories done in the future.

Y = Yacuruna

After resting peacefully with Zabash, the only one she could find comfort with lately given the circumstances of previous weeks.
They instead just spent the day cuddling, no talking in the process. And they felt at peace.

After ten minutes of simply lying together, Nalee asked Zabash a question.

"Are there many stories you tell amongst your friends?"
"There are!" He replied "My favourite is a story 'Cyclops Savior'."

"It refers to the fact that the man had only one eye." Zabash explained  "The story is about the said man appearing in a depressed tribe, told of the downfall of the evil tribe, and embarked on a quest and sort to defeat the evil creatures that tormented the land."

"Interesting." Nalee said "Do you-"

A fierce splash came from the riverbank they had settled nearby.

Out of it were creatures that was a human-like creature with fish skin and body parts.

"Yacurunas!" Zabash shouted, moving up in a more defensive position.

"Or Pishkens, there seems to be a split in what their species is called."
"What are they!" Nalee said.
"Long story, I'll explain later."

Nalee and Zabash were at a major disadvantage, having only Nalees fang and Zabashs coils at there disposable when the three Yacuranuas were wielding three spears and had the two surrounded.

Nalee decided it was best to attack one quickly and chose one that seemed sluggish in stature.
The Yacuranua blocked with its spear and another of the fish people ran behind Nalee and grabbed her, holding her arms together and keeping her from swinging her knife around.
Zabash was about to attempt to get her released when the other two got in the way.

Hissing at Zabash, the one that grabbed Nalee went back into the riverbank and swam away with her still in arms.
On top of getting out of the slimy hands of this creature, Nalee was now met with trying to get out the water and breathe again.

It was not long before she lost her strength and feel into unconsciousness. The Yacuranua had brought her back up to the surface to breathe in her slumbered state.

Waking up a few hours later, Nalee was tied up in metal chains, which she mistook for a layers of rope since the lighting was dim. She was surrounded by the Yacuranua figures. Looking about the darkened place, she made out that they were located somewhere in a cave. A rather big one since she noticed the roof appeared as high as the sky.

She fidgeted her arms about to see if her fang was by any chance beside her and had no such fortune of stupidity on the Pishkens part.
The monsters were speaking amongst themselves in a tongue she could not recognize.

Nalee was forced to her feet and pushed further down the cave.

They eventually stopped at a dead end, the cave stop had a stone carving with bright glowing blue scribes chipped in it.
One of the Yacuranua creatures pushed her forward and untied her from the chains.
The others pointed their spears at her and a different monster began yelling at her.

What it was actually saying was unknown.

Whatever she did was presumable a better option then doing nothing.
Touching the glowing scribe, and nothing happened.
Pushing against the surface, and nothing happened.

The Yacuranuas got vicious and began bellowing furiously at her.
Scared at the situation at hand, one of the fish monsters moved forward and grabbed her. Continued yelling its unknown language at her.

After not responding, the Yacuranua threw her away from the cave end and she fell to the ground just a few feet from the mob.

They got the spears closer as the one who threw her took out it's own knife.

X = Xenos

Keeping still and quite, she would not let her prey spot her and run. Waiting patiently for the doe to move close.
Unaware she was spotted herself, except her predator was better equip.

Nalee felt something pinch her neck. Swatting what seemed to be a mosquito, she pulled a stone jabbed in there.
Her neck felt bizarre, trying to massage it gently and quietly, she noticed her neck became hardened.
She then became increasingly sleepy. Noticing she lowered her head, shut her eyelids and nearly let out a yawn. She immediately sprung herself up only to repeat the same process and feel completely to the ground. In a relaxed sleep.

Awakening, she found her mouth guarded by thick stone, several stones were formed around her body, coloured vines were sticking out from it and spread about. The last thing she noticed was she was two thirds covered in water.
Every second of seeing these sights made her more and more nervous. She was scared. A natural reaction to this would be to move about, looking for a way to get out of her cramped situation.
Struggling to simply move, her muscles were completely strained and unable to move from position.

Seeing something approach her from the other side of... still water?
What approached her was nothing like she had ever seen before.

A human-like creature in posture, but that's it.
She noticed it appeared creature like, the sounds that seemed to be emitted by it did not swing away from that fact.
Takoo begin hyperventilating. Defenceless against what looked both hostile and apathetic.

The creature slowly raised it's arm to touch the still water that separated Nalee from the Xeno.
Making strange noises.

Nalee was able to feel something from watching this, her heart beating.

The water that originally covered most of Nalee quickly lowered. Soon it emptied the cramped location she was in.
Hearing something overhead, she soon felt something jab her back.

The still water afterwards lowered as well. Now she was looking at the Xeno in front of her clearly, nothing to distort that sight at all.

The head was crustacean like. a giant black skinned lobster with the eyes missing. The bodies scales appeared thick, as hard as the stone around her arm. The legs were a mass of tentacles, pushing from the ground to keep itself to her level. The only thing that was even close to human like was the hands, and even that appeared slime-like to that of fish skin.

Too scared to even scream at this sight.

The creature moved away a few steps and Nalee was moving forward against her will. Hearing the noise again.

The creature moved out of her point of view and a single beep could be heard. The coloured vines separated from her stones and then she continued her uncontrolled moving.

Becoming more scared with every second.
'This cannot be happening!' she thought 'this cannot be happening!'

Stopping in her tracks, more strange noises were heard. she glimpsed something moving from underneath her. Claws came towards her and grabbed her arms, legs, and even grasped her neck.

More strangeness occurred, the creature from before was followed by two more. They approached Nalee and examined her from every angle.

Making their gargling noises at different volumes.

It was at this point Nalee thought to speak.
Despite the muffling the stone around her mouth made, she tried.

"Stop! Stop!"

They paid no attention to her pleas, as if she didn't make any noise at all.

The terror continued to rise as one of the creatures pulled it's own equitable fang out.
It was smaller, and oddly shaped, but given how dangerous these creatures seemed, smaller was perhaps worse.
Struggling more and more to get loose from the binds that held her in place, one of the lobster creatures jabbed her neck, a pain like a hornets sting.

Nalee began feeling a little at peace. Maybe, she just needed... some sleep.

W = Wild Wolf

After trying to pick herself up after the nasty fall she had before, she feel back down on her face. Her body was damaged badly and it was a miracle she could even find it within herself to pick herself up briefly.

She crawled over to a large tree and rested, waiting for the current pain surging through her body to lessen before moving about again.
Knowing how bad her luck was lately going against her completely, risking walking home was the worst thing she could do right now.

Keeping her fang on her lap for safety purposes.

This would prove the best decision as she heard a wolf growling just off in the distance. Looking over in the direction and picking herself up a foot, she noticed it creepily paced towards her, keeping it's eyes focus.

This wolf was bigger then anything she had previously seen, perhaps an alpha.

Knowing she had no current possibility in winning, she instead had her knife extended and stared a hostile stare at this pile of fur, teeth and claws. Hoping to intimidate it.

The wolf had eventually stopped in it's tracks but crouched it's upper half down, from the looks of it, it was ready to leap and strike her down.
Nalee expressed a rather scared expression and her hands were visibly shacking.

Little did she know this was a perfect queue for the wolf, and so it did pounce.
Seeing this, Nalee quickly reacted by holding her knife straight and steady to stab it fiercely.
Unfortunately, jumping on top of the hunter was not the wolfs intent. Instead jumping just short and slashed at her arm. A quick but deep wound that forced her knife out of her hands.
The wolf opened it's jaw and moved to bite her in the neck. After clenching down deeply, it pull her forward, despite her efforts to break free.
After pushing her down with her chest to the dirt, the wolf ran behind Nalee, bit down on her foot and pulled back before going back to the neck.
Clenching continuously until enough blood to kill her as she no longer scream.
At least, the wolf figured that was the case.

Going back to her damaged leg. The Alpha bit down once more and dragged her away, deeper into the forest to it's home.

Nalee happened to be asleep, having a moment of solace with her mind elsewhere, unaware of the danger that would consume her later.
Hearing brushed wind move all around her head.
She eventually woke up when something slimy smacked repeatedly against her eyes and nose.
Waking up, she saw tiny dog faces close by.
Nalee sprung up, hurting herself in the process since she still had the previous injuries.
She noticed the dogs before were wolf cubs.

They were not backing away, even when she growled at them, rather pathetically as her throat was in serious need of bandaging.

She then heard a more louder, more terrifying bark come from elsewhere in the cave she had just noticed she was in.

Entering the cave was the alpha wolf. Snarling at her with it's fierce sharp teeth stick out again.
Opening it's maw completely, The wolf then pounced. This time, Nalee had nothing to defender herself with.

V = Vicious Venus-Man-Trap

After scraping most of the mud off her skin, all that wasn't dry onto her skin.
Deciding that finding her former hunted creature would live another day as Nalee was feeling ill and decided it best to return to her home and rest.

As she moved, she heard a fast slithering nearby. Looking over to where the sound came from. Seeing a print in the mode that appeared to be a thin snake.
No telling how long it was.

Though it clearly wasn't big enough to be a vore threat. It may be poisonous and Nalee refused to walk so brashly and risk stepping on it.
Hearing the slithering again, she looked about to see where it was to get on the move again since she was freezing.
She did manage to see it, the snake beside her leg.

Wait, that didn't look like a snake.

It quickly tied around her leg and yanked back fiercely, pushing her forward and hitting her face on the mud.
The vine made no hesitation and pulled her quickly to a pod.
Once she bumped against it, the pod opened.
Revealing saliva and sharp teeth. The vine itself was beyond the plants uvula.
The vine micromanaged pulling her in and continuing moving itself up, while her attention was distracted, the vine managed to extend it's size and make a spiral around both her legs.

Though kicking was not an option at this point, the vine did drag her feet through the teeth, and Nalee was able to use her hand to block the surface of the creature before it closed down on her completly to stab her directly.

Believing she just needed to keep it steady for a few seconds with one hand and grab the knife with the other. This plant would surely be easy to cut up with no bone.

What she wasn't counting on however was the creature not immediately giving it's all.
So, when she didn't try supporting the maw with one hand, the creatures grip to close got stronger and Nalee was quickly loosing control.
As it began closing, Nalee tilted her head to avoid being stabbed by the teeth.
Though successful, she was unable to finish grabbing that knife.

The closed pod sealed all around her and made it a very tight squeeze. Feeling a lot wetter then out in the thin rain, Nalee feared she was being digested. Not to mention, the position of her head to her body made her neck increasingly sore. It was possible her neck would sprain before the digestion was finished.

Maybe the teeth closing in would have been the better option after all.
